PORTRAIT PAINTING

You are shown how:

1st Day We first of all understand the structure of the face and create pastel/charcoal drawings.

2nd Day. We learn how to mix flesh tone colours. Examples of portraiture. Paint a portrait using colour mixes.

3rd Day. You start creating your chosen portrait in acrylics. Bring in a photo or use one of ours.

You paint in a Professional Art Studio: JoeDaisy Studio, Dons Yad, Mapledurham, Oxon

Cat is phenomenal at portraits and she teaches you how to start with the basics (bones of the face, muscles etc) and then takes you onto flesh tones and colour mixing .

She teaches the "canons" of the face and gives you some invaluable tips.

This is a 3 Day midweek cncise Portrait course with take away notes and confidence to paint any portrait.

Everyone has their own space, with Professional easel, painting table, paints, brushes etc. ALL PROFESSIONAL ART MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED.
