'Just wanted to say Great! Something very interesting about this accommodation and unusual!! Wonderful countryside all around it and a feeling of 'olden times' - yet the house itself is very modern, clean and friendly.
WELCOME TO OUR STUNNING NEW GUEST HOUSE We opened on 1st April. The furniture is very contemporary and new, new designer bedding, stunning paintings, books to read and paper to sketch on in the lounge. Tea and coffee available all the time in the dining room. Wine with your meals and a fridge in the dining room for your own beverages. MEALS There is a new dining room where you can help yourself to tea and coffee at any time. The dining room is very modern, very exciting and stunning!! Breakfast. Continental, because we know our students in Spain appreciate this most - and paint better for it!!. Toast, jams etc, fruit juice & yoghurt and you can make yourself a poached egg - great new gadget!! Help yourself to the 'buffet' style breakfast. Evening Meal is served at 7.30pm and will be an informal affair. We will provide your supper, with fresh bread and salad or seasonal vegetables, followed by a cheese and fruit plate and some wine and mineral water for you to enjoy with your meal. We want to ensure our guest needs can be catered for, so we do ask all our guests to let us know about any food dislikes and allergies before they arrive. We can cater for vegetarians but vegans or other food specific guests would need to consult with us before arriving. FRIDGE - We do not have a licence but wine is served with your evening meal and there is a fridge in the dining room - where you can also store your own beverages. BEDROOMS Hair dryers are provided along with dressing gowns and complementary toiletries.Stunning new bedding, and a dressing table with mirror. Original and inspiring paintings on the walls! Television is also in your room. BATHROOMS There are two bathrooms - one shower room and one with a bath. (Sorry not ensuite rooms but then this is reflected in the price!). A dressing gown is supplied for your use, during your stay. TV in your bedroom. LOUNGE A new lounge where there are sketch books and drawing materials (we are not doing pastels because of the mess they make on our lovely new furniture!!) There are art books to read and NO television. This is a sit and chat and relax room!!. We have a roaring fire in the winter months and there is access to the garden. GARDEN Chairs and tables outside for warmer evenings - plus you can smoke out there. CAR PARKING - Plenty of car parking		There are stunning paintings in every room The dining room has 1960 design classics. You can help yourself to tea and coffee at any time. Bedrooms have luxurious fabric and crisp sheets. Complementary toiletries. A hair dryer and dressing gown to use during your stay The Lounge has paper and drawing materials and jigsaws - a roaring fire in the winter and access to the garden in summer View from the landing.
